What this site loads, and what it does not.

What we collect

Calculator inputs stay in your browser. assets/app.js and assets/lab.js compute results on the page. They do not send what you type into a calculator to a server, and they do not set cookies.

Two optional forms on the homepage (and the same forms on upload-index.html) submit only if you send them. They post to formsubmit.co, which emails the form fields to [email protected]. The installer form sends the name, ZIP code, phone number, and the sized-kW field. The checklist form sends the email address you type.

assets/monetization.js rewrites Amazon search links in the browser so they use the affiliate tag generatorsi0d-20. assets/magnet-cta.js, where a page loads it, adds a link to the printable cheat sheet and a TikTok link. Neither of those files loads analytics.

Cloudflare, which sits in front of this site, adds two scripts to the HTML it serves. One rewrites the contact email so the address is not plain text in the response, then loads an email-decode script to show it. The other is the Cloudflare Insights beacon at static.cloudflareinsights.com. Those scripts are not files in this repository.
