Privacy Policy — GeneratorSizer for iPhone

The short version: the app collects nothing. It has no account, no analytics, no advertising, and it never connects to the internet. Everything you type stays on your iPhone.

GeneratorSizer is an offline power-sizing calculator for iPhone. It is built so that there is nothing to collect.

What we collect

Nothing. The app does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information.

Specifically, the app does not:

connect to the internet or to any server,
ask for or store your name, email address, phone number or location,
use analytics, crash reporting, advertising or attribution services,
include any third-party SDK,
use cookies or any tracking technology,
access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, health data or files.

What is stored on your device

The only data the app saves is what you type into it:

the list of appliances you add, with their wattage values,
the list of backup circuits you add,
the calculator settings — headroom margin, running hours, tank size, battery capacity, voltage and chemistry.

This is stored inside the app's own storage on your iPhone. It never leaves your device. Deleting the app deletes it, and the Start over tile on the home screen clears it immediately.

Children's privacy

The app collects no data from anyone, including children under 13. There is nothing to collect, so there is nothing to protect.

Third-party content

The app contains factual wattage reference data compiled from published manufacturer specifications and U.S. Department of Energy figures. The app links nowhere and displays no advertising.

Your rights

Because no personal data is collected or processed by us, there is no personal data to access, correct, port or delete. Under the GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA and similar laws, the relevant fact is that no personal information is collected or processed.

Changes

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version adds an optional feature that requires data — the change will be described here and in the app's "What's New" release notes before that version ships.
