The home calculator still adds running watts, one surge, and 20% headroom. Use it to get a first number. Then run the sequencer before you buy a class up. If you live above 1,000 ft, run derate before you trust a 7,500 W sticker. If neighbors sit 25 ft from the pad, run lot-line noise before you park an open-frame unit under their bedroom window.
